Awarded for employees recognized by a Medical Control Authority |

Life Saving Award
Awarded for Outstanding performance while on duty that resulted in a life saved by extraordinary measures such as CPR/AED, or Trauma Care. Patients must be discharged from the medical facility for this recognition. |

Employee of the Year
Awarded to those selected as Employee of the Year for DVA Ambulance. Also for the State of Michigan or at the National level. |

Awarded for general achievements where the employee improves above their level of licensure/certifications. |

Awarded to employees with perfect attendance. Perfect attendance for this policy is defined as present for every scheduled shift unless PTO time was used. |
