DVA Ambulance provides a service to the community.. Public Relations. These events can be from community education to providing medical coverage for special events. It is the goal of many EMS Providers to educate the public about the Emergency Medical Services. This can be done through presentations to schools and other organizations.

On a daily basis the public are able to have their blood pressure taken by our staff. This is very useful for people who are required by their physician to have it monitored daily or for those who wish to keep track of it on their own. Please keep in mind that our staff may not always be available during peak call times for regular blood pressure screening.

Community Education can include licensed EMS professionals as speakers for special events, schools, community events, etc. Please contact our administration offices for further information or set up an appointment.

Please provide the following information: Organization's name, Date/Time, Location, Contact person with phone number/e-mail, and topics wished to be covered.

SPECIAL NOTE: When PR events are scheduled, it is possible that an available unit/personnel may not be available due to an emergency call. Emergency and Non-emergency calls take higher priority over PR events for obvious reasons. If a delay is apparent, our staff will contact the person listed and advise them of any such occurrences.
